Default Owners manual

I decided to do something strange like look at my owners manual and see what they recommend on maintenence. guess what, both the front side and back side says on the bottom in small letters, (excludes all GT TURBO CRUISERS) whats up with that? plan on calling my dealer to see about it. Gary

your owners manual for your GT Turbo says excludes all GT
turbos. Now that is strange.[:I]

Was your 03 one of the very early models? There were comments back in summer of 2002 that some of the owners manuals didn't have the turbo info in them. Mine does have the correct turbo charts and it was built in July 2002 and purchased in September 2002.

When I bought my GT in January 2003 I saw that same thing on the "Maintenance Schedule" book, and called it to the attention of the sales dept.

They hadn't noticed that it was printed on there, so they went outside to various other '03 GT's and they all had the same thing.

So, I called the "Parts" dept. to order the correct maintenance schedule book, but they said that was the only one available.

That was in January 2003, and I've been using a coupon out of that book every 3000 miles since then.

I haven't checked since then, because then the '04's came out, and I figured that since it was the one that came with my car, I'd stay with it.

It does say that though.[:I]

I remember when I got my 2003 GT I asked about some kind of maintenance and was told "look in your owners manual". Needless to say, nothing was there, only to find out later that a little piece of paper was supposed to be inserted in the manuals with the needed additional information. So, I was guess, that not only I but Turbomangt and others never had that little insert put in our manuals.

Don't know, never got it. I believe it was regarding maintenance schedules for the GT and maybe info on the Turbo.
