It occured to me as I was driving to work that the average voter drives a Camry, Accord, minivan, SUV, or pick-up truck.

What would you expect?

Hands down, the ugliest cars are all pick-up trucks and minivans.

Even the Lamborghini Countach is ugly with those huge, hideous air intakes and bolted on whale tail, even the fenders look like an afterthought:

But the Countach is still cool looking, and the average person will say it's beautiful simply because they know it's Italian and expensive.

If you took a building and slapped louvers and vents all over it like that people would hate it. For example, the *average* person who loves the Contach probably hates this building:

Production development required the scoops, and the wings were for more visual pop, along with aero at high speed (rear lift).
IMHO, one of the most beautiful cars ever is the Jaguar D-type.

Even in the protoype, I think it's awful the way the rear wheel well cuts in to the wheel like that.

The Jaguar D-Type looks fine from all angles except dead-on from the front where it looks like a goofy bug-eyed smiley face:

I think that impression is exagerated by the yellow paint job.

I'm surprised the Crossfire didn't make the list of ugliest cars. I love the looks of that car.

I thought they would base the cars quality to the listing but they actuall just hate the looks. I find that the tope 5 ugly car looks just fine to me beside the Aztek that cars just ugly beyond #1. These people have problem calling all these cars ugly. I don't like alot about the PT but the looks is OK and the element looks just fine.

Ya know, Just last night I was sitting behind a new GT ragtop, looking at it and thinking what an elegant looking car! Very sharp. These bone-heads dont know what they're talking about.[:I]
