Auto Stick...
I heard that they put an autostick in the pt, wanted to know what people thought of these trannys, i personally like the manuals in the pt.

Congratulations on your 5 speed. I have the autostick in my GT because my wife doesn't want to fool with a 5 speed in traffic. We have have good luck with the autostick. The autostick is not as reliable as the 5 speed (of which there are two different ones).
Having driven the PT 5 speed, I felt that a shift kit might help. It didn't have the crispness of the shifters in the Alfa-Romeo or Jaguar XKE I have previously owned.

I test drove a GT with the auto stick, I could see how you'd get used to it. It worked well, it was very quick.[8)]
