Default Weird Coasting Sounds

I've got a 2002 PT Touring Edition, and I've noticed an odd sound. I initially noticed the sound when I was driving and took my foot off the accelerator, you would get a woo-woo-woo-woo sound until you stopped. Now you hear it more even while you have your foot on the gas. The sound is somewhat faint, but definitely noticeable. Any ideas?

My hunch is brakes - more specifically, rotors. If disc is warped a little, pads rub intermittently, making the noise. Brake wear varies greatly.
Have you had brakes done? I replaced the ones on my '02 with the best NAPA has - they have more than one grade - their best rotors are better steel, and their best pad is the Raybestos ceramic pads.

I've owned it for under a year, I believe brakes were done about a year and a half to two years ago. Wouldn't surprise me if that is what it was. Any other possibilities?

I've heard tires doing this too. Try rotating (check the brakes while you are there) and see if it helps. Next step would be a suspension bushing or steering component causing the alignment to change during accel/decel. Don't forget to check axles and motor mounts. Both can cause noises when wear changes the relationships. None of this is PT-specfic, just past aged FWD car experience.
