Default Another new PT owner

Hi y'all,

Wanted to say hi seeing how my fiancée and I just picked up a new/used 2004 PT Touring, 2.4L, 5 spd, cool vanilla w/ chrome package, moonroof, and spoiler. Managed to find one at a dealer not too far away from Ottawa with only 11,000 kms (3 hrs....) Needless to say my fiancée and I jumped on it! We've had her 2 days now and we're loving every minute with her! Couple little things though: what's up with the antenna? Interior's a little boring too. Going to look into making a few minor changes but otherwise very satisfied so far!

Cheers!

Welcome to the group![^] Hope you enjoy your PT for many years and if you need any info, this is the place to be! Lots of different aftermarket antenna options are available if you prefer a shorter one. http://www.revelenterprises.com/ is a good place to start[?]

The only problem is that some of the short ones do not recieve very well. I had one and put into the G can.

Yeah, I was sort of wondering about that. How long was the one you had? I'm not looking for a really short one, maybe 16 - 18" Anyone have experiences with those?

Hi Welcome to the forum and Congrats. on your new PT. I have a power antenna installed now for over 4 years, it has a switch and I can adjust my antenna to what ever height I want. I usually set it around 4 to 6 inches and I have not had any problems with reception. I bought it at www.ptcruiserparts.com
