Hi all.
Looking for some advice.I am thinking about putting some flames on my pt, but with it being light almond i am looking for something subtle.I am possible going to go for flame pinstripe along the belt line.Has anybody flamed their almond cruiser and do you have any pics. What colour of flames did you go for? |

Haven't personally seen a Light Almond with flames. I always thought that Almond was the best color to go with the wood trim. I kept my flames below the beltline but of course it's not Almond. If you go to the www.Streamlinedesign.com website and search around. There's the option of choosing a color of a PT and adding all kinds of different graphics and flames by just clicking on the flames and moving them to the side of the PT to see what it looks like. Give that a try to see what different colors look like on Light Almond.

I was really interested in trying the Ultra Gold Metalflake 3D flames at http://www.liquid-flames.com/colors.htm . Thought it would be almost a "ghost" flame effect. Still thinking about it. I did call and talk to them about their return policy, and I was told they have a 30 day return, just pay the shipping. That's a good thing as I wasn't sure the color would look right on the Lt Almond, there being so many shades of gold out there. I may still do it, it looks like it would be sharp. If you decide to try these out, PLEASE post a pic on yer car, I'd love to see it.

Thanks for the help guys. They didnt have an image of am almond cruiser though. But i have spent several hours fiddling about with the flames.
![]() ![]() Great sites though.I have emailed a guy over here for some samples to try next to the car. It seems that there arent many if any almond cruisers with flames going about so maybe people have already decided it is the wrong colour. I like the idea of shadow flames or shade shifting. If i get round to doing it i will certainly post a pic.

I added magnetic flag flames to my almond PT GT. If I could find the same flames in vinyl, I would buy them in a heart beat.

Check out my ghost flames on my website. I'm not sure how to post photos. I think brown is a very difficult color to put flames on.
That's just me.
