The Cruiser goes to the Dealer
Finally I got my car into the dealer for a transmission replacement. Im at 68k miles, and ive got the 75,000 7 year warranty, so it's free. How long should this project take?

I hate reading that. 68,000 miles and transmission shot. [xx(]
I got to 87,000 on my '02 with no problems, but I was always uneasy... I did have mine flushed at about 50,000 miles & filled with ATF + 5. The dealer should tell you how long - if they have the new one on hand, they should do it in a day.

Itll be 2 and 1/2 days tomorrow, and they didnt even replace or rebuild my tranny. They said that all that needed to be done was tighten some bolts around the motor mounts.
