ANOTHER cargo net question!!!

ok, i know you're probably tired of seeing a topic like this, but PLEASE bear with me since i'm new here. my mom has an '04 PT and the guy who sold it to her explained that the D rings could be used for a cargo net...well, it's nearly a year later and we haven't been able to find one anywhere. our latest venture took us to a dealership here that recently switched from selling buicks to selling chryslers, so they don't know JACK [:0] and, of course, the guy who sold my mom hers is nowhere to be found. so i need some HELP!!! anything you could tell me would be appreciated. thanks in advance.

If your looking for a cargo net here's one on eBay right now going for a starting price of $10.

If your not familiar with eBay, here's Chrysler dealer that a lot of us use for OEM parts. The cargo net goes for $58.36 [] but if you mention PTCruiser Links, I think you can get a discount.

The Cargo Net was OEM until 2002. I bought it for my 2003 from Wyckoff:

But I'd be surprised if you couldn't buy it from any Chrysler dealer parts dept. Just ask for part # 5023356AA


I also bought those cargo tie down D-Ring loops that are shown on that page, and screwed them onto the inside of the rear hatch, so I could tie it down when hauling cargo that stuck out the back.

It's perfect. I suspect it's better quality than OEM, but I've never seen the OEM cargo net. I liked it so much I bought one for my mother's PT. They are on sale right now (May 05)! Highly recommended.

thanks everybody!!! i'm going to try all these resources and let you know what i can come up w/...i've already sent the guy on e-bay a message inquiring about the condition of the net and so far, i don't think i'm going that route, but we'll see. [:I] thanks again for all your help!!!
