Default Door spears,I can't belive how eazy

I want to thank you guys on my post last week asking about installing door spears, but after trying your ideas I found a very much faster way....I took a old broomstick cut a chisle shape tip,cut it so it was 3 foot long and using a hammer drove under each spear, can you believe under 5 minutes for all 4 spears without hurting the paint(No heating or sun),Now the glue.....2 small pieces of wood 3/4x3/4x3 with a chisle tip on one end used for scraping while weting the glue with 3M remover,2 1/4hours later finished...Now if I can get myself to install my stage 1 kit on my GT I will be happy..Thanks again BOB RENNINGER IN Phila.

I removed the door spears off my Impala SS (perhaps a tad longer!). I rolled the 3M doublestick off with my thumb. It took hours, and the blister has healed nicely after a month. 3M has a glue remover? [B)]

If you have a '04+ install that Stage 1! What would it take...10 minutes? If you have an '03 I can see why you might drag your feet, but it's not that hard changing the injectors. I did it in a couple hours on my '03 (including transmission quick learn).

There is a 3M product that might be even easier. It's a flapper wheel that 's made of Whitish rubber discs. Chuck it up and it works like an eraser. Great for decals and stickers on paint. Follow the instructions, your results may vary, but it works great.
