By and by, we are not Old People. Now, we may be "Youth Challenged" but, it's a state of mind. Maybe it's more like a "Mid-Life Chrysler."

Yo man I just turned 25 in May and I said the same thing when I got my PT in 01 since then I've been the only person in my hometown back in VA who has one hooked up. The rest are alot older than me but can still hang with the best of us. There just not known for being at alot of bass offs!

Im 17 too. I love the PT, but all the downshifting and everything up hills frustrates me when im trying to save gas. I only get about 17 mpg to begin with. I also want a manual car, so im trying to sell the pt for a 350z.

i'm 27 and i have no complaints about my cruiser.

i've always hated stereotypes anyways. besides that, i love to see the jealousy from men in boring sedans and minivans as i hop in my ride. i usually give them a big smile and a wink.

kevinl1058....your cruiser looks sweet, very clean.

I'm almost 26 I bought the PT(with my own $$$) because it's the only thing that my parents agree with each other. They both like it and call it the Piggy because the stand and shape of the car resembles a pig.

In NYC I see 99% of the PT owners are from the age of 40-60. All of them very warm and friendly people...mostly lossing hair or have lost all of them(i'm on that path too...its all in the gene In very rare occasion do I see some younger people in my age group driving a PT.

I think most younger kids/adults are into the Impreza,Evo, and Z trend these days. I don't blame them just test drive one of these car and u'll see the light... I also have an Impreza(with my own $$$ too) but my father takes that car to work every chance he gets and since it makes him happy driving that thing than the PT I'm OK with that but I just wish he would stick to a car that's in his age group and the car he originally want me to get for him.

I like to add that I have people coming up to me and say you don't look like the type that would drive a PT[:0] and my father getting stopped by young cops in the impreza thinking his a young punk in a fast car but seeing him in it they started talking to him like " OH sir sorry you can go now " [|)]
Wow, what does "stick to a car that's in his age group" mean? I'm 54 and I drive an '05 SRT-4 and love it. I happen to like fast cars and so does your father. My previous car was an '03 PT GT that ran in the high 13's/low 14's. I probably get hassled less in my SRT-4 because I'm not a young kid driving it. That's a good thing. Just because we've got a few more years on you 20 somethings doesn't mean we will pack it up and drive cars that are "in our age group", whatever that means. Be happy your dad takes an interest in your car(s) and likes to live a little. [?]

What is old, I have been 39 for the last 20 years, still enjoying every minute, you are as old as you feel. I feel old when I climb out of bed, after coffee, I am young thinking 19 until I start working around yard...thats why I stay 39 !!!![8)]

I've had my cruiser for almost a month now but I've wanted one since they first came out. I'm 25 and grew up the son of a hotrodder and constantly around hotrods and muscle cars. I work at a library and drove a S10 but I wanted something cooler to move my music equipment around with on the weekends.
