SHE NEEDS A NEW RIGHT FRONT AXLE??? WTF?!

At any rate, the car is back. The front right side drive axle was replaced. The part was $284.20 which was covered under warranty. She runs like a charm.

Somehow, some of you took me mentioning the fact that I have a Toyota with over 200,000 miles on it that's never had even ONE major problem since 1996 as a sign that we don't love the PT Cruiser. Let me make this very clear: we love the car. We love the way it looks. And aside from this (drum roll please)

COMPLETELY ASTOUNDING DEFECT,

we're very satisfied PT Cruiser owners.

'Nuff said.
Your cool man! That's a lot cheap to fix than I would have thought. I also notice on this one that Some folks got kinda sinsitive. Also judging from comments made I think someone might need a little prozak. They get tweeked way to easy. OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH. I loved my Toyota also but the PT is more fun and confortable. I think that's were Toyota lost it at least with the pickups, not to confortable, and way to expensive for something made out of Jap Beer cans. [8D]

I have had the clutch recall at two weeks, a new transmission last fall, rack and pinion steering this winter, a belt tentioner in March, all under warranty. And I can't say a bad thing about my GT or about my dealer. They have been nothing but good to me. And I love the car. And don't want another. If anyone has a reason to whine I do. It's just not worth it. I love the car too much. It's fast, it's comfortable, it's small but, you can carry a lot in it, and most of all it's so... much fun to drive.

I think were all on the same page. We all love our PT's that's why we go to this sight mostly to brag on them or talk about our mods. But once in awhile problems pop up and people express thier disapointment, seems like their's room on this site for that to. No one likes to have to take it to the shop. It's more like a heads up, or what would you do kinda thing. Mostly small annoiances. I like to look under the hood even if I'm not sure what I'm looking at. You can't blame the guy for airing a little disopointment. He's not living in a dream world. I also expect a lot from a new car, or a new use like my 2002. Some things are no mystery now because of this site like the GoodYear tires are for the most part Junk. So you know next time what to buy. Their some smart Mach's who log in. This is good info, site.
