I assume you mean the keyless entry. I'm sure it can be added, and I'm sure some have done it, I just don't know cost. [:I]
For starters, you'd need a RKM _ Remote Keyless Entry Module - goes behind the radio. Usually, wiring is in place.

It is quite common to add aftermarket power locks. Do a google search for "remote keyless entry" or "remote keyless entry alarm". You can pick up a complete anywhere from $50 to $400, it depends on options & such.
If I was you i'd just get a alarm to go with it. The installer will already have the car apart so might as well add it at the same time.

I agree with Espresso, aftermarket is the way to go. Many option levels and a chance to add an alarm at the same time. I doubt the car is pre-wired for the factory module. It seems the base models have a different dashboard wiring harness than Touring or Limited models. The Fog Light add-on is an example. Make sure the installer is competent. Most electrical problems are due to add-ons and modifications.

I had a 2001 touring edition that I added power door locks and trunk release. I install the actuators(for each door and rear) myself and a switch on the dash. I then had a vendor put in a alarm system and he hook up the power door locks to his alarm fob. Cost me $60 for the parts and about $ 200 for the alarm. Work out great, never a problem.
