Default Sirius not available for the convertable

Man this really sucks I ordered the factory sirius adaptor for my 05 convertable and they dont make an antenna for my vehicle From the looks of things they even install the adaptor in the headliner of the hard top car. The leads for the antenna are only about 9" long [xx(][xx(] I have the serius unit in my other cars and I love it I guess I will have to go to an after market add on unit. Does any one know who makes the radio for Chrysler maybe I can get an aftermarket antenna and find a place to mount the adaptor any help would be great.

I had Sirius for a while, but the disc-jockeys were so lame I switched.

antenna mounting location is not as important as you would think

That is where I have mine for my XM .
Right up next to the VIN badge. Antenna location is NOT important. I actually had it on the floor of the car for a few days( before I ran the wires through the dash) & it still pulled in the stations fine. I dont have mine hard mounted, just incase I want to take it out & put it in a boat or golf cart.
The only time I loose signal is when I pull into the garage.
