Cruizin2k,
You might want to check this one out on EBAY...pretty good deal, and you can probably get them to come down on the price....

Rental cars are driven by 100 people who didn't own them. I'd pass. Especially being as this is a "performance model", so you know everybody who drove it probably ran the heck out of it.[8)] The only rental car that I purchased gave me allot of drive train trouble. Mind you this was back when the earth's crust was still cooling.

A Chrysler dealer here had the same car (white GT w/ tan top & interior) sitting on the lot for 6 months & the price had dropped to $19K w/ only 12K miles. I wouldn't buy it without a free 100K bumper to bumper warranty. Be patient, the right deal will come along, they always do.

Update - Havent purchased it yet, still thinking. Gonna try to see if the dealer will accept less than 20k. or so.. but i agree i would ask them to throw an extended warranty on this since it was a rental and they bought it from a rental agency.. and the warranty should be included. but it does have the warranty still but i wanna get the extended warranty, how much do they cost if they wont give me one.

Extended warranties run somewhere between 1000-2000 depending on mileage and years you want covered. You MUST get the warranty now, it will be more expensive, and a lot harder to get once you go over your 3/36 basic. FYI---Make sure it has the boot that covers the top-I was told these came with the cars when bought new. Mine didn't have one and it cost 350 or so for a replacement. Do you have to park out side? If so, have them give you a convertible outdoor cover (about 200). Once again, be firm and willing to walk out if you do not get what you want. There are quite a few 05 verts. coming on the market and as we get closer to Aug. more will be available and they will get cheaper. Demand for the PT has been going down-which is goood for you as a buyer.

The convert has warranty but im not sure if its extended or not. and I usually park my cruiser in the garage so outside isnt an issue for me at all. and my automatic gear has the boot on it.. i think this is what you mean, u can see the interior pic. or im thinking of someone else.

Just bought a Light Almond Cruiser Convertible a few days ago brand new and I love it! I was driving a Limited Edition 2003 White Cruiser before. The Turbo engine is a LOT more powerful than my hardtop cruiser was! That makes all the difference!
