Default Just call me dumb

This is a first and I;m not proud of it. (actually its embarrassing) My wife calls me from in the garage, I'm in the basement packing orders. Ok ok,I said what do you want? reluctantly I go see what she wants. WHAT DO YOU NEED WOMAN CAN YOU SEE I'M BUSY? I think you better look at your car she says. OH MY GOD I SAID TO MYSELF. I must of forgotten to lock the parking brake and my Cruiser was resting against the door. Have you ever seen how much hardware is on the inside of your garage door? TONS! I'm thinking the worst. I push the car away from the door and lock the brake, then I go brace myself for what I expected to be major body damage. To my suprise, all I saw was a chip similar to a stone chip on the front end. Don't know how I avoided a disaster on that one. sometimes I do get lucky, but I fell like an idiot, I never done that before. from now on I park in reverse!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Gary[:0][xx(]

At least you had it in gear. You must have a steep angle in the garage? Don't feel to bad when I got the cruiser it was the first automatic I've owned, so I was used to stick just shut off engine leave in gear, right. I would keep forgeting to put the thing in park /not used to parking brakes either. After a few near Big toe roll overs I rember now.[8D]

I used to own a caravan. I had it parked in the garage and had the rear hatch open to load it up. My sister walks in and hits the button for the garage door. Before i could get to the button the garage door scratched a 1/2" wide line from the bottom of the hatch to just under the window.

(while were sharing garage stories)

Btw: i now lock the garage door when the cruisers hatch is up
