Good luck finding one, I believe he's all sold out. Smoother intake runners plus cooler charge equals about 9hp over the cast manifold. If you can find one out there somewhere, do NOT hesitate to pick it up!

That come standard on the '05. Except for those of us that bought early. They cast the plastics for them at higher temps so they can withstand the abuse of being an engine component. According to the guys that put them on, they flow better for a better A/F ratio making more power.

This is the intake that is also on the '06 GT that now claims 230 HP. The thinking on the forums is that Chrysler waited 'till '06 to announce the "new" power.

Were guessing better flow, cooler intake temp, more even balance filling each cylinder. And less weight is another plus.

Has anyone actually dynoed before/after to confirm?

I would bet they went to thermoset plastic for cost reduction.

Also bet they simply put a stg 1 program as the stock program for the 06 GT for the extra HP.

All the available "New" plastic intakes were quickly bought up. For now Chrysler has none available. There are about 10 owners on another forum who have installed or will install these on their '03 and '04 GT Turbo's this week. Dyno tests and racing results will be coming soon.

TurbozCS2003, I'll take that bet.[]

From reading on other forum, only grief seems to be finding a way to attach dipstick tube - a simple bracket needs to be made.
