Auto should have no problem with S1 level. Did you do the quick learn when you installed the S1? Perhaps there is a problem with your tranny.

My first reaction is to beef up the tranny with tommy's HD trans kit!!

Hmmm, well I've been running my setup for a while now. Maybe I got a factory freak but my tranny hasn't been slipping at all. Running stage 1 with the stage 2 WGA and the VAK kit UCP and CAI and a 2 stage boost controller with high boost holding at 18. No problems. You might want to consider that 2 stage. My first (low boost) stage I launch at only 10psi so i can get traction and I go easy on the torque converter and then once in 2nd i flip the switch for my added kick in the pants at 18psi. [8)] Plus keep tabs on your fluid. I installed a tranny temp guage and the higher the temps go, the sooner you need to replace the fluid. Living in ARizona, I have to change my fluid about every year and it keeps my tranny safe. so about every 12000 miles or so.[?]

This is a very good idea. I alway urge people to spend a little $$$ and keep fresh fluid in their auto trannies. The rate of breakdown of tranny fluid rises almost exponentially with an increase in fluid temp.
