i followed the link you posted and have a question...

do you have the k&n airbox and optional "heat extractors" that they sell designed to work with the ram air hood?

if so, do they seem to help?

anyway, great work on the GT.

The "optional heat extractors" is a fancy way of saying "remove the weather strip." From what the guy told me, its an extra piece that helps draw hot air out of the engine bay. The hood sits so high up, I didnt feel it was worth the money.
As for the Airbox, I didnt buy it because I compared the engine bays of the n/a PT and the GT and doubted it would fit. This was back in late summer when the GTs werent even out (yes, I bought it that early). Although an airbox would be nice, Im looking into getting one custom made. It would have the tube/cone pointing up with about two inches actually in the hood, with some sort of cone around the device to keep the heat out. This will probably happen towards teh end of the summer, starting fall. I'll let everyone know how much Stage 6 here in town quotes me and if anyone is interested, Ill have them bang out a few extra units [8)]
