Blew off a Hemi

[8)]We have a freeway onramp in our town that is about 1/5 mile long, two lane and flat.

Yesterday I was starting up it along side a young guy in a new Dodge 1500 Hemi. He punched it so so did I, I passed him ang had him by about a car and a half at the end. Stage One rules!

I wanted to follow him home and say "is that a Hemi?"

I'm sure he didn't tell his buddies that he had just be blown off by an old geezer in a PT.

Too bad there wasn't a CHiP up on the highway to show ya how fast you could empty your wallet! Now that would be a site to see!

What I like is going down the on ramp, punch it at about 25-30, lights the tires up good! CHIPS...yeah I know. But an occasional burst when the coast is clear I can't resist!
OR I could just cruise at 80-85 down the I-5 next time I visit Cali...but I hate the slow lane

he just wanted to blow the doors off a powerful truck, thats what i like to see!

As a Goldwing owner (GL1800) I see the same thing. Lots of hot cars and hot bikes think that they can take a Geezer Bike like a Goldwing. The look on thier face is pricless as I slow down to let them catch up.
The Harley Davidson riders are fun too but not much competition (with the exception of the V-Rod).

The family's 11-year old daughter died of injuries at a hospital in Shreveport Friday afternoon.

Both her grandparents died Thursday when a car slammed into the back of their van.

Authorities say it happened in Monroe, Louisiana. Thursday, the family had just dropped off their son. He was on his way to serve overseas. Witnesses say the crash happened so fast - it was unbelievable.

All that's left of the family's mini van is a pile of metal. They were stopped at a red light on Highway 165 when the gray PT Cruiser slammed into the back of the van.
