I have 46,000 miles on my 03 GT and get 18 mpg in town and 24 mpg on the highway. I would kill for 28 mpg but so far not even close. I have done all the tune up things with quality parts and have gone to Mobil 1 5w30 oil and NGK iridium plugs and MOPAR High Performance wires, but nothing seems to get me more mpg! Is it the loose nut behind the wheel?>?[8)]

No matter what I always seem to get only 260 miles on a tank driving like a human. When I drive like myself I usually get 220 or so.

Just got back from Atlanta 2473 miles averaged 25.57mpg. Had 3 tank fulls in a row of over 31,we were in sight seeing mode and not over 50 mph for 2 days. We tried to stay off Interstates on way down and set cruise 75-80 on way home. One has to remember this little car is almost as heavy as a 55 chevy. Merry Christmas to all and a Happy New Year.
