My wife had an overheating problem at the car wash. Seems the fan was not operating. This same thing happend about a year ago and I had to send the Stage I unit in for reprograming. On the way to meet my wife I was trying to think of possible fixes. I told myself why not boot the computer. I unplugged the battery and upon startup the fan did come on. Don't know if this will always work, but it's worth a try.

My stage one does that a lot too. Just turn the car off and turn it back on with the AC fan on. Fan kicks right on. I am in the process of installing a switch to the fan relay so i can just turn it on whenever i want. [?]
