Default anyone else hear their fuel pump humming?

anyone else hear their fuel pump humming?[:I] - or maybe it's just me? - at least, it's not voices.

i did the sec i took my back seats out..

Removing the package rack, folding down the rear seat(s) or removing the rear seat(s) will increase the noise you hear from the fuel pump in increasing magnitude.

With the rear seats and package tray out the fuel pump can be quite noisy at times.

thanks for the good news! [^]i thought the noise might have meant i had a bum pump.

You sure it's the pump? Just make sure your fuel filter is not the problem. I crawled under the car while it was idling and the humming was pretty loud there on the passenger side.
