Default Exhuast Smell

Hello all, how are you? I installed a heartthrob dual exhaust on my 2003 GT. Since then the exhuast smell is very strong when we start the car. WE have 68000 miles, stage 1, vak v3, ngk iriiums, magnecores...and the exhuast. Should I be worried about this smell??? Or is this common(sorry if this is a stupid question) Thanks!

A new exhaust will smell for a bit. If you are worried have a shop check it out with their little stethoscope to listen for any leak.

Agree. Take it on highway, get exhaust good and hot (short hops don't warm exhaust enough) - should go away in couple hundred miles. If not, THEN worry...
