Additional question if you please, is there a detailed method for changing the spark plugs and wires? What the postings I have seen the process appears to require removal of the valve cover?
Thanks
Danny
Everybody only spoke about the air intake.
You have the a plastic intkae manifold (started in '05). The part you see with "turbo" and the Chrysler wings is removable - there are clips that hold it on. With that off, you can get the other 2 plugs easily - for the inner 2, you need a plugs socket with a swivel (universal) on it.
On non-turbo PTs, you have to take the intake manifold off...[xx(]

Here is a step by step series of images I took recently to show how-to do it yourself. I used a Volant Intake kit with the flexhose. You can find the flex hose at any autozone. You don't have to purchase the Volant Intake, I just prefer not to use the stock airbox. The overall concept is the same. Only difference is that I used a 2.5 inch diameter hose, instead of 2". If you use the 2.5" you will have to cut a little away from your plastic fender gaurds, then use some zip ties to hold them in place. Mine works just fine. But the 2" should be great for stock intake boxes. My Volant has a 2.5 inch diameter at the bottom hole of the airbox container, so I had to use the larger hose. Check it out.

I also used a K&N universal cone shape air filter with my Volant Intake. You can see from the photos that this is a true cold air intake because it routes up to from bumper. It's just behind the opening on my Xenon front bumper. Brakes are not affected from th lack of cooling. They still get plenty of air. [8)]

"I understand the benefits of cooler air into the intake. The area at the front of the 06 grill is setup with a duct that feeds air to the driver's side brake rotor area. If I put a hose into that duct I will significantly reduce the cooling flow to the rotor. Of course, the wife will not be racing the car so rotor heating will most likely not be an issue. Guess I have some thinking to do.
"

Not to worry. There have been temp tests done on that and temps are not a problem. MY '03 GT had no problems and the lady who bought it last year now races it at the track. The GT at over 50k miles still has original brake pads and rotors.

Your welcome. Been meaning to do that for some time. People just kept asking to see how it's done. So I had to post it. [?]
