intake down pipe 2006

Has anyone looked at the intake down pipe(from box to turbo) on the new models to see if there are silencers like the other turbo's. Where did the extra 10 hp this year come from? Or was it strictly tweaks to the software.

It mostly came from them using the plastic intake.

The new plastic intake manifold provided 8hp (due to larger and smoother ports and a change in the #1 runner) and programming added the other 2, the later 2005s came with the plastic manifold and had the same 230hp rating, they just waited for the 2006 to publish it. The 2005s that had the old style aluminum intake had 222hp so anybody that has added the plastic intake now has 230hp also. amd yes the '06 turbo to airbox hose is the same as '05, and will help performance even more to replace it.
