Default GT Auto Transmission fluid capacity?

Can anyone tell what how much ATF4 it takes to change the auto transmission fluid in my 2003 GT? Thanks for your help.

Without torque converter 4.0 Quarts (maintenance - drain and fill) With torque converter empty 8.6 quarts. Always use only ATF+4.

There's a method to filling the tranny back up. Start out with putting the 4 quarts in. Start up and allow to run for 1 minute. Then with the E brake on and your foot on the brakes shift into each gear and end up in park or neutral. Check the fluid level and add to be 1/8" below the bottom mark. Allow the transaxle to reach operating temp (180*F)and then recheck fluid level. Be sure fluid level is correct on the dipstick. That's right out of the manual.
