Default I am an idiot

Well I got that Mopar CAI in from blueberry and went to install it today. Something that has been bugging me for a month now has been a steady loss of power. It all started right after I installed the Heartthrob exhaust. I just couldn't figure it out and thought maybe the tranny was finally going out or the exhaust somehow was messing things up. Well when I went to install the CAI I saw the sensor (not sure which one it is) from the UCP laying on top of the valve cover and the lovely open hole in the UCP. I guess if I had taken the time to look at the motor that problem would have been solved and would have a little less gray hair over it. I used some zip ties to secure it better.

Is this a normal problem with the factory UCPs? I am planning on replacing the UCP with an aluminium one. Does this still happen with the hard pipes too?

I've never had it happen with mine, and I run 19.5 lbs of boost from time to time. I've heard lots of people having problems with pipes and hoses popping right off, but I've had my UCP on and off atleast 20 times in the last year and it's never given me a hint of problems. I guess it just kinda varies on the car/parts
