Out of all the Cruiser owners out there has anyone ever thought of a Class Action Suit against DC for selling a product that is not complete as stated by the bill of lading/window sticker? I'm sick and tired of paying for something and then not getting it. What I am alluding to is the rear sway bar that has been talked about in previous threads.
Chrysler Corporation is well known for building cars and trucks with problems that linger on well past the alloted warranty period, then the buyer is stuck with the repairs. Someone out there has to be an attorney, or have one in the family that may have some insight into such a suit. These types of problems will continue to persist unless the public takes it upon themselves to change it. I'm just sick and tired of spending hard earned money and coming up on the short end. Phil |

Count me in - I feel it it is listed on the sticker - then it should be on the car

Yeah, but they fixed the problem by the time mine was produced...they took it off the window sticker and viola! no more problem!
it's like the old joke... [Patient] Doctor, Doctor, it hurts when I do this! [Doctor] Stop doing that

My car was built on 1/31/03 and the rear sway bar was not listed on the window sticker--had it been, my DC dealer would have put it on at no charge to me, no questions asked. As it turned out I paid around $193 for the part and installation. [V]

This issue really toasts me. DC has a great little thing going here, and the prevailing idea seems to be to pi$$ off owners and potential buyers just up to the point that they might still remain as customers if the salesman at the local dealership bullys them into it.
Integrity seems to be a missing word....and in tight times it WILL hurt them. The sway bar issue is one just waiting for "Prime Time Live" to embarass DC. The car IS unstable when loaded to the limit because the "twist axle setup doesn't have the beef to keep the car stable. How many accidents / lawsuits/ etc. will have to occurr to gain their attention? Who knows. As owners though, trashing the PT reputation will undercut our trade in values. My best suggestion is spend the $100, install the Sway Bar, be safe, let someone else's accident be the one that forces the issue! |

I did here:http://www.ptcruiserlinks.com/forum/...earchTerms=R/T
I also reamed D-C out on their customer satisfaction report and mentioned we may do a class action suit much like the R/T issue. I concluded by stating that it's a shame all D-C understands is a lawsuit. I'm still waiting for a reply.

I had the same thought last week. Yes, I think this is the way to go. It's on my window sticker but not on my car. Dealer say's it is now internal and I have that. So why don't they list it as an internal sway bar? Put my name on the list.

Add me to the list. It is on my sticker also but the story is "it's internal".
