Paid $19,900 out the door on a new GT. That comes out to about $300.00 BELOW invoice. When going into a purchase, never pay more than invoice--the dealers get kickbacks from the manufacturer for cars sold, so when they tell you that "they paid" such and such on the invoice, politely tell them that that is not what their ultimate price is.

If you pay invoice, you're getting a decent deal.

Well, we just bought a Dream PT Turbo! Paid exactly $25,000 plus tax & license - so essentially we got it for $2905 off MSRP.

I must add that when "invoice price" is mentioned - well, this can be quite an inaccurate figure to use. There are dealer holdbacks, factory to dealer rebates, etc to consider. So if you go in to purchase a PT, get yourselves a good deal by educating yourself first We pick her up Friday and THANK YOU GARY03GT FOR SENDING US TO BELLEVUE CHRYSLER. Bart is a good GM and Jeremy is a superb salesman and easy to deal with - not at all slimy! They even found us a 'fresh' (recent build) Dream Cruiser with low miles (13)!

Woo hoo! I've had my PT GT on order since May and it looks like it will finally be here this week.

On top of that, I received a mailer from Chrysler giving me an additional $1,000. rebate if I bring in the mailed certificate! Just for icing on the cake, I am also getting an additional $250. discount for being in the military!!

That brings my total OUT THE DOOR price for my GT to $18,711!!! [^]
That ain't too shabby. M

Well, I think I got you all beat.

I paid $17,200 for mine, and that was before my trade.

OK OK, before any of you have a stroke, understand that I bought a 2002 Dream Cruiser Series I on March 22nd of *this* year, so I got a killer deal on it, and then I was run off the road 3 weeks later and totalled it. The insurance had to get me the same trim level, so they paid $25,900 for the new Series II and just swapped the titleon my loan, so I kept the same loan and no money out of pocket. All together, I am financing $17,500 for the car.
