CraigO, welcome to the forum...the only GT Turbo Forum on the Internet!

The sticker price on my fully-loaded GT Turbo/5-speed was around $26,215 and I paid about $23,185 (before adding some extra optional equipment installed by the dealer). Before making your purchase, I recommend that you drive over to Eastside Chysler*Jeep (200 116 Ave., Bellevue, WA/Phone: 1-800-433-4513) and talk to Bart Maas, General Sales Manager. Tell him that Gary from Stanwood sent you. Think he will give you a good deal on price.

Good luck. [^]

I paid about $500 over dealer invoice, less $2500 factory rebate, w/o any add-ons. Seeing as it is this late in the model year, you should be able to do the same or even better. Dealers are looking to move the remaining PTs and are more than willing to "be creative". Depending on your zip code, you might be able to take advantage of "incentives & rebates". Before you jump on the 0/0% APR, take a good look at going with the $2500 rebate and then getting an alternative loan institute to provide the financing. Typically, you can end up with about $2000 in finance charges (depending on the rate you qualify for), so by taking the $2500 you still make $500 to the good.

We paid $100 over dealer invoice -- there were no incentives or rebates when we ordered ours.

I paid 500 over invoice for mine, and took the $2,500 rebate, which gave me lower payments than the 0% offer from Chrysler. My dealer looked at every possibility then lined them all up for me to decide. Also, they were willing to charge me only $100 over invoice if I were to order it from the factory vs. them finding what I wanted at a different dealer.

I just didn't want to wait though!

It's easy to shop by phone/internet now-a-days.

You can get the invoice prices off of Edmunds.com, then use Chrysler.com to find the vehicle you want in your surrounding area....then you can call those dealers with the car you want and ask if they'll sell at invoice + 100/200/etc.

All the links I mentioned are in the Links at:

When went shopping for our PT we hadn't even decided on a car and the salesman asked what we would consider to be a good deal and I said $300 over invoice. He was to quick to say yes which makes me think that I could have done better. We did buy one at $300 over.

We could not decide on the Dream or Electric Blue GT so the dealer gave me copies of the invoices to bring home to think it over. I just could not bring myself to spend an addtional $1600 just to get the tangerine paint and numbered plate on the dash and went with the Electric Blue. I recomend you go for thr $2500 rebate over the low financing. I had a pre-approved blank check through work for 4.39% and the dealer was able to beat that through a local bank with 3.5%.

Also, check with your work or bank to see if they have any kind of arrangement with Chrysler. I just found out two weeks after getting the car that work had a deal through the "Chrysler Affliate Rewards" program that would have allowed me to buy the PT at 1% below invoice and still get the rebate. I have called Chrysler and have sent me back to the dealer to work out getting the deal ($500 is $500).

Got my DC2 on April 30th..last day of the month and the dealership was scrambling to get rid of PT's. Invoice was $27,905 and I got it for $26,300. I took the 0.0% financing rather than the $2500 rebate just so I could say I did it. I think that 0.0%/60mo. is a once in a lifetime deal! Worth every penny.

Got my DC2 on April 30th also. Looked at it a number of times throughout the month of April. Invoice was $27,730 and the dealer quoted me a price of $26,000 with 0.0%/60 month financing. When I decided to "take the plunge" on the 29th, I once again confirmed the quoted price and the 0.0% and received an affimative response from the dealer. About an hour after I told him to "write it up", he called back and said that he was wrong about the 0.0% financing but would take off an additional $2800 to compensate. At a purchase price of $23,200, how could I say NO. I am sure glad that I didn't....I LOVE this car. [8)]
