What gauge pillar do you all recomend? Also will the color match on the one you suggest or will I need to paint it?

I don't think anyone makes one that matches the GT ! So you'll end up painting it !

Chrysler PT Cruiser Gauge Pods
I was looking at these a-pillar pods and really like the looks of them. I'd be getting a gray one, but am wondering if anyone knows whether or not they are full replacements or not? I know some companies make them but they're just a tad bit shorter than the original piece. |

i purchased all my gauges and pillar post from glowshift.com. there is no actual snap in replacement. it is more of a cover with three pods. you will have to drill holes into your oem one for the wires for the gauges. and then you just use the screws that are supplied to secure the cover to your existing pillar. i don't know how to insert images but if you go to my gallery you will see pictures there.

On word of caution on the tripple pods, if you are short like me you may have issues seeing the upper most gauge. So either put something there you don't need constantly or go with a double pod.
Just something I learned along the way.
