Default tranny swap

I was wondering what components are required to swap an automatic to a manual. I was thinking about doing it someday.

Plenty of $$$$$ and a lot of time. I did it a long time ago before the computer age and it was a PITA. Today, all kinds of things are controlled by the computer, so a new computer plus harnesses and who knows what else would be involved in the swap.

These aren't the good old days when you pulled the auto tranny out of the Chevy and put in a 3 or 4 speed stick.

Also: finding the donor vehicle will be tricky. DC made very few 5spd PTs.

I had to place a factory order to get mine.
