I seen a company advertising a product that allows you to tint your fog lights. Has anyone seen/ or done this mod? wonder if it is effective/ I would rather have yellow fogs, also a little more brightness wouldn't hurt either. (I heard the velcro covers don't work, leak, and get loose. )

I did mine. The product is like a very thick paint applied with a brush. It works pretty well - I did my 2001 LE and it was still intact after two Canadian winters. The stuff I used is called Fog Coat from PT Warehouse.

Like Buck said.
I applied Fog Coat over a year ago and have not had to touch it up. Package claims it will blend in with the old coat if you do touch up any nicks, etc. If you do try it, don't be concerned if it turns milky or cloudy after you first apply it. It will turn transparent when it's completely dry.

why not replace the lower bulbs with PIAA yellows, or another kind? I would imagine that this yellow coating would increase the heat quite a bit and perhaps even shorten the life of the OEM bulb...
