Default Turbo Lite not GT - which parts?

I feel totally stupid, but, I just purchased an 04 Platinum Series Limited Edition Turbo Lite. When purchasing parts (like aftermarket exhaust etc) should I buy Turbo or Non-Turbo parts when it is specified?!? Thanks.

Turbo, my friend, turbo - it's really the same turbo - upgrade to stage 1 & you'll have more power than a standard GT & the same as a GT with stage 1...

Such a deal! [8]

Thank you for the answers. I thought the GT and Turo Lite probably shared their parts, but, there are so many PT Cruiser editions and special series it is really confusing! Do I assume the body styling is the same (hood, grille, etc) on the two turbo styles? I think I read somewhere the GT styling is a bit different than the non-GT Cruisers. Thanks again!

No external difference, aside from the GT badge on the rear - all versions have been "hotted up" from time to time with various chrome packages. Oh, the GT does get the larger and nicer looking wheels. Some lite versions have drum rather than disk rear brakes & may not have ABS. Inside, the GTs typically are a bit fancied up - full leather rather than leather/suede, etc., & the automatics have Auto Stick rather than standard automatic. Think that's about it...

If you come across anything specific, just post here before you buy!
Most dress-up items don't matter.
Bottom of turbo grill is a bit bigger, but I've put non-turbo gilles on 2 turbos and they look fine.
Intake is different for a turbo.

The front fascia on all turbo cars is different than the non-turbo cars. The turbo cars have a smooth front bumper and larger lower grille opening for the intercooler. The non-turbo bumper has the ridges in each side and a smaller lower grille opening.

(i thought) i once read - on this board - that the gt model came with larger factory injectors - which gave it a higher horsepower rating than other pt models, like the limited. i have an '03 gt and its window sticker (i still have it) states "high output" turbo 2.4...)

Think the turbo injectors are the same, GT or Lite (since Lite became available) - if one wants to go stage 1 with an '03 (pre turbo Lite availability) though, the kit includes larger injectors.

With the newer cars the injectors are larger on both the GT & Lite, & stage 1 consists only of the ECU which kicks up the hp to the same figure, GT or Lite...

Wait4me has it right.
In '03, there was only 1 turbo, the GT.
for '04, they offered the "lite" as well as the GT - BOTH got bigger injectors than the '03 GT had, and these injectors are on all turbos since.
If you buy stage 1 for an '03, it'll have bigger injectors - no other year Stage 1 kit will need injectors.
