PCM Knock Sensor Circuit??????

thanks,...this is either a faulty sensor or maybe low octane fuel? EIther or,...if it does not reset I will take it in. thanks for sharing.

Don't always blame it on a light. I have a 2004 PT that has 148K on it and the other day the light came on. There was no oil pressure???? Replaced the sensor, still light on. Took the sensor out put gauge on there and still no oil pressure. Left the gauge out and just a hole in the block and no oil, loosened the oil filter a few turns and started her up and no oil came squirting out...???WTF?

Car is torn down to and incl the oil pump...oil pump looks good, passages are open from the pump to the filter and from the filter to the block, I see no reason AT ALL why this vehicle was not producing oil pressure. The rotors in the pump are fine, the spring in the relief valve had plenty of tension and valve was not stuck. Could this pump have lost prime some how? IDK.

Getting ready to put it back together with new pump. WWS We will see.

Hey, anyone eveyr take off the balancing shafts / chain and toss em? I think this might have a bad on and I'm not buying another, just pull it, junk it and make sure to block oil supply to unit.
