I agree as a street car relocating the plate near, but not in front, of the brake opening will not hurt anything! I also will put hose ducting to get cool air to my intake!

I cannot open the pictures you posted on Jan 2003. I have just purchased a PT Cruiser and would like to make a bracket that I can mount under the bumper. I would appreciate if you could forward the pictures or a drawing of the bracket you made.
