Default Turbo oil return line leak

I noticed while under the car installing another oil pressure sending unit (#2) that there was a leak around the turbo oil return line fitting. I checked to insure that the 8mm bolts were tight, and they were. I don't want to remove the line until I have the right gasket or seal. Has any one else had this happen? Was the gasket special (composite w/copper seal) or just high temp gasket material?

I've got a 2003 GT and the same thing just happened with mine. The hose developed a leak right at the clamp. It was a quick and relatively cheap fix though.

I called the dealer, the gasket is $0.25 each, but they have to order it! The gasket will be in tuesday. I'm buying 3 so next time I'll have it on hand. I bet most of the GT's out there are leaking, but you can't tell unless you crawl underneath and look. At 25 cents I don't think it is a special composite gasket with copper sheet etc.

Well the gaskets came in, but only 2(I ordered 3). They look larger that the 2 bolt flange from what I remembered. They are cheap and have a thin edge which explains why they will leak. If these are too big I will make my own rather that wait another 4 days for the dealer to order the right ones. You would think that something as important as an oil line would warrant a better gasket!Other GT owners may want to look under the turbo, and check for a leak before they see a spot in the driveway!
