Upgrade 2006 Street Cruiser with Turbo

I have a 2006 Street Cruiser, it's the yellow special edition, with 2.4 L, ATX, etc. BUT NO TURBO!?!?! So I'm asking what would it take to make it TURBO and even Stage one already. Thanks

I never understood what marketing genius came up with that....
Bad news - back in '04(?) they cheapened the auto for non-turbos by taking out 2 of 4 clutch packs, so if you go turbo engine, you should do turbo tranny, too.
As to engine swap, there's a different wiring harness for the turbo.
You might do better getting a turbo and having it repainted yellow...

Well, I think that's a lot of money and time. So I may be looking for an air intake, and exahust system for non-turbos. And that's it? What else can I get into the 2006 street cruiser, without too many resources.

I would add the airaid air filter.Change the plugs and wires.Use synthetic oil.My car runs so much better after adding these parts.If a turbo is what you want maybe try hahns racecraft they have a kit for the pt.I have an 06 street cruiser also,i chose to detail the engine instead of going for performance.If you have any questions

So, you think that the turbo can be done, althought the comments about the atx? How much do you consider that would cost and where?
