Default How to know if my turbo is lite or not

I recently bought a 2004 PT TOURING and was wondering if there is a way for me to know which turbo I have. Can I check for something under the hood? Sorry for my ignorance, I'm new to this car-love thing. And I do love my PT...

If it's just an automatic and not an autostick then it's a 180 hp turbo lite. Also if it doesn't say GT on the back. If it says Touring Edition on the back it's a turbo lite.

Look at your gas cover, if is says: "High test only" it is NOT a Turbo Lite.

Congradulations! You can use regular gas and still have a kick ass turbo.

Correct. Only turbo in a Touring was the "lite" with auto.
The high-output turbo was/is in the GT only.
