airbox to turbo pipe - does change help on stock gt

i took out white donut baffle and dropped a k&n filter in , and i use synthethic oil . i does feel like a better breathing engine now .QUESTION :
will gutting out the original stock airbox tube to turbo add difference ? i want to stay stock looking to avoid any warranty questions . ALSO : will any mods to the airbox side fender tube help ?

I would replace the stock TTAB tube with a 3" AMX1397TTAB tube, you cant see very much of the tube when installed so it will still look stock if you paint it black, it makes a good deal of difference in power, sound, and MPG on a stock Turbo.
