Ceit - What do you mean the GT likes synthetic oil? What was it doing on regular oil that was not to your liking? Do you still change the synthetic every 3000 miles? Do you have any issues with leaks (my experience is that synthetic will leak out of places that regular oil will not)?

I have an 04 PT GT and the last tank of gas...I clocked 157 miles to the tank. THATS AWFUL. Even when im not driving like a maniac my mileage still blows!!! Im lost as to what to do.

I think the Turbo gets worse mileage than the NA engine. I had a 2005 Touring (NA) and got about 20-22 in mixed city and highway. I am getting about 19 in my 2004 Turbo lite. Same driver, same foot... both were auto.

I must have a fluke PT as we have always gotten 275 to 300 miles per tank, normal around town driving. If we are running a steady speed on the highway, 340 ish miles before the light comes on telling us low fuel. We have 123,000 miles on it and it runs great, oh yea, it is the turbo lite limited. No mods, and no lead foot driving. It still looks great and everything works.

I can't believe some of you PT owners still WHINE, WHINE, WHINE about this matter of gas mileage. Just compare cars with the same weight and height and you get about the same fuel economy. It takes a lot of energy to get a heavy car thats shaped like a brick moving in the air. It's like driving a pickup truck and a semi tractor, you stand along side the road, the trucks drive by you and see which one will blow you over. It's no contest which one pushes the most air. The EPA classes the PT as a sport utility not a car, so you compare say a Toyota Rav4 to a PT. It's roughly the same weight, height and you get the same mileage.
