Angry Mopar "EASY" Installation!?!?

Ok, im sorry but I gotta vent. I bought the Mopar BOV kit, and when I went to install it, the kit said 90 to 120 minute install....WHAT A BUNCH OF CRAP! I had my buddy with me who is a PRO at do it yourself installs...and it took us both around 4 hours to put the dumb thing in. And is it just me or do the instructions that come with it look like they were printed on a rotary press!!!?? Ill post some instructions with pictures the way WE did it so no one else has to suffer lol.

I know exactly what your talking about. Just got done putting new LED taillights on my 87 Vette. Instructions say "easy as changing a light bulb". HA! Through the license plate hole with only a couple inches in width to get your arm over to the first (inboard) light and the two attaching screws. Using finger tips and a small wrench for the screws. Then if you get that light out, you go through the empty hole and try and reach the second (outboard) light. Took me three hours and skinned knuckles, wrists and forearm to change two lights.

NO WAY. I totally think its worth the money. I bought mine on Ebay for 68 bucks. The only thing I can say is DONT FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS. They SUUUUUCK!! I am still working on posting the install pictures for how I PERSONALLY installed it.

They are a little tough to reach the bolt on the passenger side, but I had no problem with the factory instruction sheet, and It took me about 45 minutes for mine, and 30 minutes to install one for a friend a week after i did mine, but I had all the right tools (10mm swivel socket , 18" extension and ratchet), as I am a retired Auto tech, sorry you had such a hard time. But I still think it is a good mod.

Here is a link to another set of instructions that i found after I did mine, but they are better than the Mopar sheet:
PTCrew.com - Learn it or Burn it.
