Jerry,

Are you coming down to the Sweet as a Peach Cruise-In in Savannah?

Us SRT-4 guys are also having some issues with codes. Disconnecting the battery always makes me a happy camper. LIghts go away and stay away for a long time, unless its something that I generate on my own with mods.

You can get a code reader for abouy $150. It will allow you to reset the code with out having to disconnect your battery and erase your radio stations etc.

A lot of the error code generation seems to occur after a mod, rather than an error code popping up for no reason on an unmodified set-up. As to reports about squeaks and stuff - I don't know about you, but I'm squeaking a little more now than when I was newer!

The only problem with my car is the chrome rims are being replaced due to "bubbling". So far the car has worked well from a mechanical perspective.

The only "mods" I've done to the car is to remove the two airbox silencers and I added a K&N replacement filter.

My Cruiser now has 10K on it and no mechanical problems at all. Only problem has been with the chrome also. Rims replaced, door handles replaced and the tail gate Chrysler emblem. [:I] oops, forgot to add the overhead temperature console, module was bad
