does anybody know what could be causing this code po455 it says it is a evaporative emissions {evap} system leak detected

check your gas cap, could be leaking.

I had put a locking gas cap on it from autozone like a week ago so I have put the stock one back on and drove it and the light stayed on so today I am going to try and reset the computer with the battery cable deal and see if it comes back on,I kind of guessed that would be it because all the codes around 455 have to with the gas tank and fuel pressure and stuff so I hope it is ok now,only 16,000 miles and has rough idle and all that stuff to so it is going to the dealer anyway soon

check engine light went off this morning so I didnt have to mess with the battery,still I am not liking the ruff starts and ruff idle that it has,sometimes it starts to surge like it is going to die when I am in a drive threw fast food or something that has it in drive without moving much then sometimes it is fine,I am hoping the plug wire thing will resolve this but I am not going to pay for new one the dealer needs to,they turned me away sort last time I was in,the service guy was saying that it is just how turbo cars run?I thought that was some hot smoke blowin but I had kids with me so wasn't trying to cause a stink
