I was looking at PT Tuning's ad in the current issue of Cruiser Quarterly. I noticed under the suspension category thay had on there a strut tower brace for the GT listed at $199.95 but no pics, still nothing on the website other than coming soon. Did anyone else notice this? I emailed PT Tuning hope to hear from them. I can't wait for this thing to be released already.

Ugly IMO...apparently Freedom design is almost done with theirs. Either waiting for that or custom fabricating the one for the n/a cruiser. Would look cleaner; more of teh style Im going for. To all teh chrome nuts, I say go for it

just out of curiosity, when did performance tuning turn into a style contest. Granted we all have out preferences, but it should come down to what performs the best IMHO...
but again, just my opinion and everyone has their own

I agree with 'TZER, If mod works but is a little less than eye candy then so be it, pretty but nonfunctionuall forget it, pretty and works[8D]

Something like springs that you wont be able to see doesn't matter. Function over form.
BUT. If I have a tuner-style car with the blue, silver, black color scheme; why would I throw a thick chrome strut bar when another silver one is in the making? [:I] But then again...I show my car too. If you don't show your car then it really wouldn't matter.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Call PT Tuning, they may have pics to e-mail to you, then make your own decision.
The reason the "regular" PT bar doesn't work is that pesky array of sensor connections on the strut tower in the Turbo. Most companies have just made an extra bracket and put in their same old unit. When you think about it, what more can you do. It's just a simple brace to keep the strut towers from flexing under hard cornering. |

Yeah I could care less what it looks like, as long as it's functional, does the job and I don't have to to too much relocating of the sensors, I'd be OK.
