Default Question about my Turbo.

I have recently purchased a 2004 cruiser platinum edition with the 2.4 turbo. My question is, is it the DOHC Turbo or the HO Turbo. I am guessing its the DOHC Turbo. Is there any way to tell the difference. I know the HO is quicker.

Welcome to the Forum, JMan!!

When you open your gas cover, does it say: "Premium gas only". If it does you have a HO, if not it is a Turbo Lite.

My 2004 Platinum Limited with the turbo is the 180 hp version. The GT has the bigger 220 hp motor. We are able to use regular fuel. If we drive it like a normal person, we get 300 miles before the fuel warning lite comes on and if we are steady speed on the highway, 340 miles. Great car

Same motor, different programming for HP.

All PTs are DOHC (Double OverHead Cams).

Does yours say GT on the back hatch? That's the one that gets the HO turbo.

If yours is an automatic, if it has Autostick, then it's a GT (high output).

All GTs came w/17" wheels.

Hope that helps.
