Default District Service Rep for GTA

Does anyone have the name and number for the district service rep for the GTA? I am trying to get my dealer to install the missing Rear sway bar, and the service manager won't give me the guys name/number.

you're talking about the Greater Toronto Area...i still have no idea. I'd be interested in this rear sway issue aswell. So maybe we sould have more success in numbers. I often deal with Mills and Hadwin, but have been "led down the rose path" far to often, whom do you usually deal with??? I have a connection at another dealership, whose name escapes me for some reason at this time...I'll talk to him.

tthrift might have a way to get to some of the reps, just trying to find someone. Customer service at DC is so frustrating I would NEVER recommend it!

I have been dealing with Scarboroughtown Chrysler. For the most part they have treated me, fairly. I am going to be sending off to Chrysler for my sticker details, so I can have more amunition.

When I was in the other day to have them look @ my washer noozles (they weep) adn to check the rear watts bushings I tried till I was blue in the face, pointing out to them that the PARTS department had parts listing for the missing peice, this is what they said (after handing me a copy of the bulliten):

"We pulled up those parts, and it states that if it is installed it voids your warentee".

I nearly blew it @ that... I explained to the manager that he should not be telling people that installing aftermarket parts will void the warentee. By law the warentee has to be honored, unless a failure can be link back directly to a aftermarket part. He quieted down then, but still wouldn't give me the district rep's name and number.

Quite honestly isn't holding back information against the law? What's the bigh deal? Do they have something to hide? I would call up Chrysler and start a formal complaint. You will get a case number that any time you call they will go back to that and know whats is going on.

Well, I have spent a week sending and replying to emails. Response was "they don't have to give out that persons' name/number, and neither do we", and "your vehicle meets specifications"

I am now going to take the corespndance, package it up in a nice little email and letter to the local and national papers, and let them have a wack at it. Maybe exposure in the automotive sections of the Star, Post and Mail will help the cause.

well i don't know if my sales guy in sudbury can be of any help, but i'll go bug him. we have a great relationship.

he used to be with a local electronics place (i bought all my car audio from him) and then i followed him to DC and i bought my pt from him, and then both my parents bought vehicles from him.

Incidentally one of the techs at the dealership approached me as I was getting into Clifford and wished me luck, as he agreed with me, and others had been trying too.

My dad just went through this exact same thing with Scarborough Town Chrysler. I not supposed to uncover the details of the transaction, but basically he's got the last swaybar that they had in stock and they aren't supposed to be getting anymore.
