Default Air Filter Housing Clamps

Hello everyone! I need some help. I replaced my 2003 PT Dreamcruiser battery and in doing so the Air filter housing clamps were broken. The dealership is tellling me that I cannot purchase the clamps themselves and that I have to buy the whole housing for $160.00!!! Can anyone tell me where I can buy these clamps?

You can buy your own clamps from an auto parts store. They don't have to be exactly like the factory ones that have the holes for the nubs on the hose. Just carefully cut off the nubs and use your own clamps. No wonder dealers have such a bad reputation.

Thanks for the response. I was actually referring to the clamps for the AIR FILTER HOUSING. There are two clamps, one on the front and one on the left side. It's not the hose clamp that I'm looking for. : )

They look like spring clamps to me... : (

I was also told by a dealer those little claps do not come seperately. I drilled holes where the clamps mount and used two black sheetmetal screws to hold the top of the air box on.

Sorry, you're talking about the metal clasps. Someone on here or another forum must have gone to an intake and no longer uses their airbox. They should be able to help you out or check your local junk yards.
