Voila,

Courtesy of the local high school losers:

Have you ever felt your heart drop? This did it to me...

Langka saved the day! A few hours worth of Langka, elbow grease and attention to detail saved this paint job.

BTW, the fine police officers in my area were able to find out who did it. Seems I was one of over 35 similar incidents in my area. And who says the justice system doesn't work?

Scott

at least everything was in tact... but my condolences. I walked out to find my door drilled, window smashed, gauge pod ripped out, stereo deck ripped out, speakers ripped out, top grille ripped off, and the car on blocks....scratched ALL over and oil all over the interior. Talk about amateur car thiefs...

I feel for ya . I just had to replace a tire on my GT because of bored kids randomly slashing tires at the mall I work at. They got at least 20 or so cars, some with paint damage too. Lucky for me, I had only the one tire slashed, but I saw one truck with those huge oversize tires that had 3 slashed and got scratched up as well. Darn kids need to be back in school!

No, a lack of school isn't the problem. As a matter of fact, today's Governement Schools teach kids that you shouldn't ever have to be responsible for your own actions and that the world owes you something.
I think the real problem these days is people that refuse to discipline their kids. This means that 90% of the time, instead of beating their little asses when they do something like this, they actually try and defend them and say 'Not *my* child!'.

Well, if the little bastards are caught, it should be public spanking. Invite all the friends and kids of the same age, pull down the britches and give them a few spanks with the board of education. That will really make them stand out in front of their peers.

Your stories make me sick to my stomach. I know the experience, but luckily not with my PT. Had just bought my 1999 Dodge Caravan Sport and parked it in the hospital parking lot where I worked at the time. Came out at the end of my workday only to find that some punk(s) had taken large landscaping rocks from the clinic across the parking lot and used my van as target practice...smashed the large middle sliding door window ($1000 to replace) and caused $1200 worth of body/paint damage. Thank God for insurance and a low deductible! Mind you, I was also 7 months pregnant at the time...with pregnancy hormones RAGING, those little bastards are lucky I never found them or I would have tied them to a fence and used THEM for target practice with some rocks.

My kids are small (7 and 3) and my husband and I have taught them to respect people AND their property. Unlike too many other parents, my kids DO NOThave the "power" in my household. I am the adult, I make the rules, and if they break the rules they suffer the consequences (read: punishment). The disgusting behavior of our country's youth is atrocious and, unfortunately, I don't see it getting any better any time soon.

<stepping down off my soapbox now>

Sorry for the mishap Scott, glad you were able to fix it up.

As far as everyone ranting about the youth of today, go for it.[?] Could be a forum of its own. My kids were taught to respect & they still use my teachings even as adults. I even taught them that when they borrow anything from anybody, to return it in better shape (if possible) then when you recieved it. If my son borrowed a tool to work on his car, he always clean it better then before. Small issue there but I have friends even today borrow tools and they come back full of grease, sand, etc. Let me stop now before I go on a few pages worth.

Glad the police caught the little basta$$$, now if only they could make them clean the toliets in the police station.
