Re: BATTERY TERMINAL CORROSION
Wanted to respond to all concerned consumers that there is an answer out there for battery terminal corrosion, and I'm not talking about sprays, gels, or pads. There is a new product that we're planning to launch at the first of the year, 2010.
Its called "Gator Loc Corrosion Free Battery Connectors". This product is maintenance free!
Here is a link to a short video installing crimp connectors, as well as Gator Loc tooling in action.

Gator Loc has no dissimilar metals in its design, corrosion can not exist even in a corrosive environment!
Even with AGM type batteries (sealed/gel), corrosion well happen due to the science behind the process called "
Galvanic Corrosion".
Acid vapor is not the cause, it does accentuate the problem. But the true reason, is the dissimilar metals in the design of the battery connector itself.
Gator Loc completely solves this problem.
Energy efficiency is of the utmost importance, in the development of this unique design.
Benefits include ease of installation without the need for hand tools. Being maintenance free, they free up the worry
from the possibility of corroded connectors. Which is statistically the cause for battery failure 70% of the time.
No corrosion, means no resistance, which in turn makes for a superior energy efficient battery connection.
There is no product on the market that utilizes our uniquely designed battery connector that actually lives up to its claims.
It has passed a vigorous salt spray and vibration test at Wyle Labs and Viking Laboratories.
Gator Loc has a tremendous competitive advantage because there is no battery connector on the market, that is absolutely corrosion and maintenance free.
